THE KITCHEN CABINETS

Before we put the new floor down I thought it would be smart to do my kitchen cabinets now...that way I can slop paint ALL over and not think twice about it. I hope to have something that looks like this when I'm done.

THAT IS NOT A TRAMPOLINE!

I have said this over and over to my kids but they don't seem to get it. The ottoman is not a trampoline for them to bounce on between the couch and chairs...hopefully when I figure out which picture I'm going to use as my inspiration, they will stop the madness.

THIS GIVES ME AN IDEA....

KEEP CALM & CARRY ON

At some point in the very near future I will find a way to incorporate this saying into my home decor. The poster was initially produced by the Ministry of Information in 1939 during the beginning of World War II, and was intended as a "last case scenario" to be used only should the Nazis succeed in invading Great Britain, in order to stiffen resolve.

While my husband appreciates the history of "Keep Calm & Carry On" he likes this one better...
